Religious Education makes an important contribution to the spiritual, moral social and cultural development of pupils.
Pupils of all ages and abilities are encouraged to develop an open and reflective attitude. Pupils are taught to respect the beliefs and views of others whilst developing their own ideas and answers to some basic questions and experiences of life.
Christianity is studied alongside Judaism, Buddhism and Islam in a course of study, which follows the Isle of Wight agreed syllabus and has been approved by all the faith communities.
